Educational Scholarships

Scholarships are established at educational institutions that have specific programs or majors in restoration technology, rod and custom building, wooden boat building, and transportation design. Interested institutions may submit their request for scholarship support of these particular areas of study to the Foundation.

Safety and Preservation Grants
Collector vehicle and boat clubs, associations, and other 501(c)(3) related organizations of similarly related hobbyists may submit a proposal that would enhance the enjoyment, participation, and/or safety of their particular hobby.

Museums and Library Grants
Innovative programming, capital projects and historical preservation grant proposals are all encouraged for consideration.

Youth Initiative Grants
Imaginative proposals that encourage the engagement and participation of young people in the various vehicle and boat hobbies are also encouraged.

Does the proposal have a long-term view to help the hobby?
Does the proposal have the potential to create positive change in individuals and organizations?
Is the proposal innovative and worthy of trial, with the possibility of replication?
Is the proposal designed to further public interest and appreciation of the historic vehicle and classic boat hobbies?
Does the proposal address the issue of sustainability of the project/program beyond the life of the grant?
